I think the argument contained in A Guide to As-Applied Challenges to Felon in Possession would be fun to make, as long as you had the right facts. But if you had the right facts, you get to put on evidence of how peaceful and decent your client is, and you would arguably get to do so in a motion to dismiss before the jury was even called up.
