So, I've been charged with jumpstarting a new "Trial Procedure" section for the website. You can see the new tab at the top. At this point, it's still in its very early stages-what I'd call an initial and very rough outline. By the time it starts to take on a more finished appearance, I'm hoping to incorporate almost all of the rules (constitutional, statutory, and UTCR) in order to offer a fairly comprehensive resource for quick reference in your research.

I'm writing this post to alert the users of this website that, while it is in a rough form as of now, there is currently content within the outline that may be useful-and more will be added on an ongoing basis. I'd prefer this information to be used if at all helpful, rather than just lost in the ether as I continue the long-term effort of compiling the TrialPro section. So, as an initial update, please note that I have posted preliminary drafts of both Double Jeopardy and Ex Post Facto pages.

These pages (especially the preliminary summaries of the law!) likely will experience rather drastic changes in both form and substance going forward, but they should provide a boost to your research even as they stand. More pages like them will keep popping up in the outline, so be sure to check back!

And, as always, please feel free to leave comments if there are improvements you think I could make or ideas to incorporate. Especially with this section, there's going to be a lot of adjustment in trying to find the best way to present all of the information out there.

Thanks,

Greg
