OSC grants review to racketeering case

Last week, the Oregon Supreme Court granted review to a racketeering case out of Clatsop County. The press release is here.
That press release describes the question presented as:
- Is evidence that a defendant and one other person committed a series of three thefts from two grocery stores, using the same modus operandi each time, sufficient to support an inference that the person associated with and participated in an "enterprise" and engaged in a "pattern of racketeering activity" for purposes of ORS 166.720, such that a jury could find that he committed racketeering?
